VANUATU: Australian man cleared over alleged scam

(Radio Australia: Pacific Beat) An Australian man who has been cleared of involvement in an alleged scam aimed at the Vanuatu government has provided details of the offer, which he says is legitimate. Trevor Bettet insists that the plan to offer Vanuatu 10-billion dollars is still on the table. But he believes two other men, a Briton and an American, who accompanied him to a meeting with Vanuatu prime minister Ham Lini to discuss it, had ulterior motives.
