Edward Natapei wins Vanuatu PM vote

(Radio Australia) Vanuatu's Parliament has just elected Edward Natapei as the country's new Prime Minister after a close contest with Maxime Korman.Mr Natapei scored 27 votes, while Mr Korman got 25 votes in a secret ballot.Counting was broadcast live on TV and radio.Earlier former Foreign Affairs Minister, George Andre Wells was voted unopposed as Speaker of Parliament. Mr Natapei is expected to announce his Cabinet lineup this afternoon.
