Sanma Province launches first own company

The Councilors and the people of Sanma province witnessed on Tuesday the official launching of the Sanma Investment and Development Company Limited.

The company is a private local company as well as it is owned by the People of Sanma province and was officially launched by the President of Sanma Province Sebastian Alguet.
In his official speech during the launching Mr Alguet stated that the main objectives of the Sanma Investment and Development Company Limited was to empower and unite all the people of Sanma Province through the responsible use of the province’s natural resources to achieve real social and economic autonomy through investment initiatives and opportunities.

He also added that one main aim of the Sanma Investment and Development company limited was to fight poverty, corruption and injustice at all levels to achieve the aim for a more equitable, transparent and happy society for the present and future generations of Sanma people.
“This means standing for truth, integrity, justice and humility at all times, no matter the cost and as well as to develop in a sustainable manner in achieving political and self reliance for Sanma people.

“And to foster and develop 100 percent owned and operate Sanma ventures based on the cultural and spiritual traditions and aspirations of our forebears.” said President Alguet.
Mr Alguet also acknowledged the effort and time set by the Kilu, Daniel and Warsal Lawyers for the drafting of the company’s regulation.

The Secretary General of Sanma province Joel Path added also that the new company required the support of every citizens of Sanma province.

“With the support of the people of Sanma province the company can achieve its goals,” stated Mr Path.

The first directors of the company are the president of Sanma province Sebastian Alguet, the Vice President Joel Paul, the chairman of Sanma steering committee David Wilson and the chairman of NISCOL Samsen Samson.
